We have an open PhD position in the team on developing unique polymer brushes for selectively trapping and spreading information (e.g., solutes) as next-generation intelligent materials. I am particularly interested in a talented and motivated student who has experience with polymer brushes, and an understanding of fluorophore coupling (e.g., FRET) and confocal microscopy. The position is part of a close collaboration with Prof. Frieder Mugele at the University of Twente in The Netherlands, and my team at the Leibniz Institute for Polymer Research Dresden and the Technische Universität Dresden. This promises to be a fulfilling and exciting PhD project 😊
